I am going to retire on July 2nd and leave for Oregon on July 3rd. I feel that I have slipped in to one of Stephen Hawkings time warps and the sun is standing still in the heavens.Any body out there suffering from this same malady or am I truley alone in the universe waiting for some thing that will never happen?

Del, I was the first person to view this topic so I decided to move it out of the Oregon Gathering topic to here in General Chat. I think you're going to find more people will respond since it's not buried in a camping forum.

Sigh, I can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like to know you're only going to work for a bit more than four months more. I'm Four Years, 3 Months and 5 Days from retirement...so for me, time is standing still. What helps is to know that camping season is coming on and I have lots of plans to take advantage of the nice weather that will come with it.

See you at the Oregon Gathering

Talking

I can remember a time...

When I was on active duty in the Navy, and we were in the Persian Gulf, spending weeks and weeks at a time on patrol at sea, without pulling into port... Many times at full General Quarters... cruising around and around in circles...

and

time

stood

still.

Cheer up, my friend. This too shall pass.
