Tornado casualties?

Here's a heartfelt prayer to all the people affected by the recent bout of tornadoes in the midwest, and hopefully all our fg members are ok.

Ive been watching the news it's crazy, way to early in the year for this kind of thing. We have had such a mild winter in Iowa, it makes me wonder what kind of weather we are headed towards spring. Hope everyone is ok.

If anyone is interested donating $$ or supplies to help those affected by the storms, we are very fortunate to have Matthew 25 Ministries nearby. They were among the first on the scene in Joplin and Tuscaloosa, so I'm certain they've already responded to communities just a few counties away from their base. They are an agency highly recognized for their integrity and one I volunteer for on a regular basis.

Living in the midwest is like surviving the London Blitz, one or two air raids at a time, six months of the year, with no end in sight. I grew up in Nashville in the thick of it. I loved thunderstorms for the excitement, the light show, and the cool, ozone-scented breezes that followed. Wonder it that would feel different today. The twisters are coming thicker and bigger. It's enough to put the Fear of God in you, as those endangered Red Staters can attest...
