That's cool, I wonder if it will happen or will it be like the 1ton Tundra?

I think it's quite unattractive, as well as impractical. Not a real "camper", but a bed and a "loft" that could, perhaps, enable the driver to regain some of the storage lost to the camper appendage.
This quote from the linked article pretty much sums it up for me:
"It's made of fiber-reinforced plastic and boosts the car's length to 196 inches and its height to 81.1, and comes complete with a skylight and a back door for slipping out un-noticed when people are gathered around the front gawking and laughing at what looks like a hybrid with a tumor."

Suanne and her Prius

Much more interesting is Suanne, a Rubbertramper, who camps out of a real Prius. Check out her blog
Suanne Online: Rubber Tramp Rendezvous for 2012
She is a really innovative and interesting person!

You could paint it brown and the camper shell white then get a License plate that says "HOT CHCLT"
