Cool Travel Issues

War Eagle.
I found it. It is located at the corner of Wood & Main in Silver Cliff, CO.

If you place the little man on HWY 69 by the dome, it says "190 CO-69, Silver Cliff, CO" If however, you enter that address, it takes you way out east of town. Go figure.

Roger, They still have mistakes in their database. If you look at a map, Highway 69 doesn't even go through Silver Cliff. Highway 69 goes North-South through Westcliffe. But there is a Highway 96 that goes East-West through Silver Cliff and dead ends into Highway 69, smack dab in the center of Westcliffe. The SilverDome Saloon is in Silver Cliff on Highway 96 - not 69.

And if you can follow all that, then you can probably answer the age old questions of "Who's on first?" and "What's on second?"

By the way, I was going to use the www.weather.com satellite to guide you to the SilverDome, but when I looked, there is just a big glow over the whole lot. If you know what you're looking for, you can just barely see the triangle elements of the dome in the upper-left area of the glow. I don't know why it looks like that - just some of that supernatural power of those old geodesic domes, I guess. Now, how again does this thread relate to fiberglass RVs?

Thanks for your curiosity about all this....

Dale

Smile Fixed

I meant 96.

Upon further investigation, I found that we, the users can edit Google Maps. I tried to fix the location. We will see if it 'takes'.
