I just have to answer you Kevin 'cause you're getting a bad rap on cheese wiz. LOL
Here are a few tidbits in defense of processed cheese:

A real Philly cheese steak is served with Cheezwiz unless you order otherwise. Pat's and Geno's
both... processed CHEESE! gooey stuff! that's the ticket!

Almost all processed cheese like American cheese is cheddar cheese!!!
Emulsifiers are added to make it spread or melt nicely on a burger.
Cheddar cheese comes into the factories in 50 lb blocks and end up as cheeze wiz and white or yellow burger slices.

Also, cheddar is never yellow. Its white and if you get yellow cheddar it has been colored.

Long live KRAFT!!!!

Home-made stuff. Venison jerky seasoned with dried jalopeño flakes and parched sweet corn. Real quick-energy food.

Beef jerky and corn nuts. Corn nuts will keep you awake with the crunchy noise.

ya, that was actually what prompted my (tongue in cheek) response. When it happened, it kind of was a joke here at work... "Grease fire in the Slim Jim factory" and one gal had no idea what a slim jim was. So we had to ed-u-ma-cate her on classic southern cuisine. Including Dr. Pepper and /or Coke with Peanuts. So, they were on my mind.
