Trek begins tomorrow!

It used to be a lot easier when we both had 3 letters for each of our provinces and states.

It was not all that long ago (1972) that Lou Reed wrote his hit "Walk on the wild side".
"Holly came from Miami, FLA
Hitch hiked her way across the USA"

Today the lyrics would be missing a beat.
He might have to have made the tune with a Canadian character. eg.

" Holly came from Corner Brook, NL - Eh "

Today we are in Burns Or. - we will arrive in Bend after a three hour drive tomorrow.

The people we are visiting there will not be home til Monday so we will camp at the forest service campground at twin lakes.

So far, we have been most impressed with the campground at Vedauoo glen near Larime Wyoming. This place is a visual delight! I will post pictures when I get Judy's new camera figured out.

Other sights worth mentioning are :

The ride from interstate 80 on interstate 84 to Ogden Utah,

The ride from Vale Or. to Burns Or. on US 20.

Camping out on a ridge off a dirt road high above Green River WY.
