Trillium Rant: It's Not A Boler!!

This may not be just my Trillium owner's rant but might be shared by anyone who owns a glass egg that's not a....well you know the one.

Here's how the conversation goes most every time someone engages me: "Nice Boler!". "Thanks, it's a Trillium". "Neat, I always wanted a Boler!". "Ya, they're nice, I like my Trillium, it's fun." "So how long you had the Boler?" "Uh, about a year - it's a Trillium". "My friend has a Boler too!"...and on it goes.

My neighbour is threatening to paint "Don's Boler" on the back of my Trill, just to watch my reaction.

Like the Bolers, but love the Trilliums!

Don

OH, how I can relate! I have an Oliver and always am asked how long I've had my Casita (even though "Oliver" is plastered on the side...they must figure that's me)

I've learned not to fret about it anymore and am simply happy to be counted amongst the throngs of all FGRV owners!

"Oh look, a Tril"l.
"No, it's a Boler".

This works both ways.

Get a Bigfoot 5th wheel, no one even notices it's fiberglass. I guess it's so close to "normal sized" it never draws attention.

Red face They only get the "Stream" part right

I often get told, "I didn't know that AIRstream made fiberglass trailers!"

Our Ventura is often called 'a bed and fridge on wheels'.

When I was in Denali national park, there happened to be a caravan of half a dozen or so Scamps and Casita owners traveling together. One of the Casita owners started chatting with me, about how my trailer was the basis for Scamps, going on and on. I finally realized he thought my Burro was a Boler.

My strategy is to make it clear what I'm towing! I was amazed that this plate was available, but I jumped at it and it's permanently mine until or unless the trailer and I part company!

The most distinguishing feature of a Boler is the inevitable body sag, a problem solved by other manufacturers including Trillium by the use of molded interior fixtures.

Yeah, our UHaul gets a lot of folks asking "is that a Scamp?"

But my favorite was the guy at the gas station who said "hey, nice Porta-Potty!"
