trip report and thanks to the forum

I broke one of my own rules and went camping on a holiday weekend.:
It turned out ok traffic really wasnt bad and we had a blast.
I got on a deer lease that is family oriented and we went up to set up stands and check the game cams, set up the egg and just smiled at how easy it is to set up camp compared to some friend that bought big trailers.
We ate and ate and ate some more ,dag these folks like to cook, had a few salty dogs at night and just relaxed. road around in the daytime looking at deer and turkey. Well most of the time we were relaxing until I had a 4 ft rattler strike at my atv tire, that wasnt to relaxing . We relaxed the snake permanently . All and all this was a great weekend good friends good food and the egg to retire to in complete comfort.
Left about noon monday for the drive home and all went well .
Parked the egg and hooked it up ,oops no ac on the fridge ,tried everything I knew and nothing worked. I slapped myself in the head ,and went to the puter , The three Casita forum have a ton of info on trouble shooting the fridge and after a few minutes of reading go out to the egg pull off the cover for the fridge and put the ac plug back in wala ac running great on the fridge .

Check the simplest things first. Is it plugged in? Why do I hear Karl Childers saying “ain’t got no gas in it!” Since getting the Scamp I have seriously considered joining a hunting lease if I could camp year 'round. Sounds like fun.

Reminds me of my brother-in-law after watching bits and pieces of his camper fly out the door and the thing rocking around for 20 minutes...

I don't know, we've never used it. Are you out?
Ummmm...I thought you said you've used the furnace.

Apparently the propane bottle was on when they bought it, and stayed that way for two years until they ran it out. I have twin 30# tanks, so it was no big deal.

My big bro has a 99 year lease on a deer lease in Texas. He says it makes a great camping spot! Make a ton of memories and don't forget to feed the deer in the "winter."
