Turn about is fair play I say

Several months ago I was chatting with a friend when the subject of camping came up. I told him we had been camping out of the back of the truck while trailer shopping but just had not found anything that I felt good about buying. He thought a minute and told me about a trailer sitting in the back of a guy's yard. He said the fellow did not use it and that it was one of those "egg" trailers. I tracked the fellow down and we made trade, cash for old Scamp. Fast forward through the succeeding months and I run into my friend who turned me onto the Scamp every once and while and we talk camping and about how much my daughter and I are enjoying the Scamp.

Last Friday I am driving home and see the gate to his business open so I swing in for a visit. He is closing up so I invite him over to see what I have been doing to fix the Scamp up for our purposes. He comes on over and we talk Scamp. As he is leaving he says "look in the back of my truck" and what do I see but a new gooseneck hitch, not a 5th wheel, but a gooseneck (you see where this is going don't you?). He finally admits that after seeing how much we liked our Scamp 16 and listening to me brag on it he tracked down and bought a Scamp 19! That is what I call payback!

Nice story. Now you'll have a good friend to trade modification ideas with too.

It almost seems like that was the plan from the beginning, only you two didn't know it! Isn't life wonderful?
