You need longer hair to have a hippie RV Van.

Mini Vans are great vehicles and can be used for many things but think I would pass on the hammock idea.

Who needs a van, if you have a pickup with a cap! Works the same if not better.

Prior to buying an all molded towable, my kid and I carcamped many, many times in the back of the truck under the canopy. She was short enough to be able to sleep on a platform bed rail-to bed rail. I slept underneath front to back.

The only time it was a problem is when I would throw open the back door to put my pants on. She would YEOWL... MOM, MOM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? As her face turned fifty shades of red.

I told her...
Either they've seen it before and have seen better
or
They've never seen it before and don't know what it is....

Get over it.

Yeah Mike, just TRY to get that image out of your head!

Made a memory! And am very glad I can NOW stand up and put my pants on inside my trailer before stepping outside. So is my kid although she's now an adult.

But, I do have a 20 month grand daughter to initiate...

I turned my Element into a camper within a week of purchase! Took the back seats out, put in a single cot, a wall of 2 tiered shelving..had a heater, a stove..I thought I was stylin'!

Ahhh, so that explains your interest in modding a minivan. Now I get it!

LOL.........you found me out.
I also still have my 2002 Astro Van.
Take the two rows of seats out and a cot
fits very nicely.
