Phil, I actually discuss it often.
The most honest answer is, I am a hoarder. But it keeps me busy.
The more complex answer, and as such a rationalization, is I have given one to each of my three older children.
The first
Trillium I got for $2000, and it was in great shape:

It was such a good deal that I was giddy happy for like three months. I was kinda embarrassed to be so happy about stuff. Before
Trillium, stuff was not my thing. It was all about the experience. I would do things that were possibly not so safe in the name of experience. I hitch hiked quite a bit. I drove, and crashed, (several times) a series of motorcycles, I got married and had kids. But now I find I am addicted to Trilliums. I still limit myself to really good deals, but I am hooked.
But my first
Trillium is stuck in Ontario:

My eldest son is now 19. He has very little ambition, and will play video games till all hours of the night, if we don't catch him. Since graduating from HS, with fairly good marks, he has floated from one temporary job to another. He gets board and lazy, and then gets fired. We charge him a symbolic rent, (1/2 of the going room and board rate). He and my wife do not get along. He must move out. I realized this a couple of years ago... Hmmm... To the day almost:

After I bought Launch Pad, (see my registry), my two twin daughters, now 17, said to me, "Nice trailer. So, what do we get?". A perfect rationalization for more.

The other two are experimental trailers. I bought both of them for cheep, so I could try my hand at fibreglass work:

I used the "Cantaloupe" as an experiment:

Humpty Dumpty, (the straggler) just dropped into my lap, practically for free:

I still have two more kids that will require trailers, but the experimental units wont be them. My wife says I have to fix and sell those two before I buy more though.
