Two years later Humpty Scampdy goes camping

Sunday was exactly two years since we brought our 13' Scamp home with the roof lying on the floor. By Saturday afternoon we had gotten the last piece of reflectix and hull liner glued on and some of the benches and closet screwed down to take it to Union Creek campground. No stove or sink yet, just a camp stove. It was nice to get out of the heat at nearly 5000' elevation.

See, letting all of the king's horses help made all the difference.

Oh my.....I've only been on this site for a year, so I don't know your whole story....but seriously, wasn't there a magic wand involved somewhere? That is truly amazing!! Congratulations. That must have been a wonderful camping trip.

Norm, I've been following along since the beginning of your rebuild. I'm truly, truly amazed. You've done a wonderful job and I hope your trailer brings you many happy memories. You certainly deserve it.

Very nice job. People say you can fix any egg but I was very skeptical here. Wow! Thanks for sharing, Raz

Thank you for the kind words. We still have a long way to go until it is finished. Partly because we are refinishing the interior cabinets with birch plywood. So far the closet is done and the kitchen base partially. Kathrine wants kitchen drawers added, overhead cupboards on each end, front dinette and on and on. And on and on and on. I keep telling her I'm not as good at cabinet making as many of you on this forum are.
