Uninvited Inspection.

We just moved...awesome place on a full acre that backs to thousands of acres of redwood forest. But I digress.

I placed a Craigslist ad to give away all of our now empty moving boxes. An older couple responded and came out this morning to pick them up. As I was helping the female half of the couple to load the boxes the male half casually walked around our beloved Trail Mite. I'd stepped into our garage to retrieve s'more boxes and as I came out I saw him stepping OUT of our Trail Mite. Yup, he'd opened the door and gone inside. "Wow, that's really cute inside!" he said with a smile as he stepped down.

I'm not sure how well I hid my annoyance at his intrusion . I mean, there's nothing to hide in there, but still, you wouldn't step into someone's house uninvited.

I guess folks is just curious.

But, still very rude on his part...
For us, our eggs are "home on wheels."
I totally understand your discomfort.

Just take it as a compliment to his first impression of you, and from now on keep your trailer locked.

Well, I'm from the South...at least I consider Texas to be Southern. I was raised with probably what you might call exaggerated manners. It seems as rude, as if they had slid into your car and checked it out. The person probably did not think he was intruding, however, MveryHO is "never set foot, where not invited". I can't say that we are widely traveled, but have hit a few States. I try to accept that people do have different customs in various parts of this great country, but I am always amazed at some folks capacity for downright rudeness. My Ma-maw would have clucked her tongue and pinched me hard, if I did some of the things that I have seen. It does take ALL kinds, I have heard JO

Can't change the past, what's done is done. It may be better to accept his exuberance over road common courtesy. I agree with Floyd, lock the door.

Texas manners don't you just love um... as us southern Texans would say.. "Bless their hearts" they just did not know any better.

My Mother or Ma-maw would have clucked her tongue and pinched me hard, if I did some of the things that I have seen.( depending on how bad my manners were at the time, I might have gotten a swat or 2 when we got home or company left) It does take ALL kinds, I have heard

I am from Michigan, and that is just rude not to ask first, to see the trailer.
