Try arguing that with border security.

Never argue with any official who has a badge and a gun.

If they don't want you in just go spend your time and money in the USA.
If you don't like their policies then perhaps don't buy their fiberglass trailers.
There are manufacturers of fiberglass travel trailers right here in the USA.

Canada relies on tourism.

Drinking and Driving Laws in Maine. The State of Maine prohibits drivers with a .08 percent blood alcohol content (BAC) or above from operating a motor vehicle. This criminal offense is called a OUI (Operating Under the Influence) in the State of Maine. ... Maine has Zero tolerance for minors that drink and drive.

Trying to use Good Judgement, years ago tried to do the right thing and called the Canadian Counsulet and as stated previously, was told to send in $$$ for application and even with this I was told there was no guarantee the the application for a waver would be accepted.
Kinda got upset here and said "If Canada didn't want Good American dollars I would not visit anyway" and hung up;
This past year was going to take a trip to Nova Scotia and got Trip Tickets from my AAA and right in the laws of Canada pages was told if you had a DUI in America you have to call the Canadian Counsulet or got ont he computer to said site and low and behold it was the same message. Pay for an application with no guarentee.
Needles to say we just toured Maine for a few weeks.
A DUI in Canada is a Felony offense...
Those of you going there be careful just think if you got into a fender bender (not even your fault) and you had to show your license.....
Just think about it......

Works both ways guys, some Canadians have been asked if they EVER smoked pot and if they answer yes, they are barred from ever entering the US unless they pay big time for a waiver.Have you ever smoked weed? Answer this question and you could be banned from the U.S. - Politics - CBC News

We are heading out your way next year. Heading east to southern Ontario, Eastern Townships of Quebec, down through the New Hampshire, Maine then into the Maritime's. Used to make that trek through the Airline Route many times. Looking at a 6 week jaunt. We are not sure if it will be in June July or September October ( for the autumn colours). If you see a white F150 and 17' Casita, give us a wave.
