Often I see a box with a red X but I can't open anything? How do I view?

Next time that happens, Patti, report the post to the moderators (by clicking on the little white & red "!" icon along the bottom of the posting member's info = every post has one). It may be you're looking at some older things whose picture links are not working; or it could be something else. One of us will check into it, if you'll tell us where.
