Has anyone taken their egg on a trip through Nevada's Lonliest Road in America?
I wish I lived in the area to take my camper and spend a week on US 50. What an interesting and funny road! I was amazed on the number of SP's MANY miles off the lonely road

If so, Where did you stay and did you enjoy it? Do you have any pictures to share?

Here are some pics from my cross country trip, including my journey on the loneliest road in America: (hopefully, the link will work)

Austin Nevada, a must see if you happen to be on the only the lonely highway 50, very old gold mining town, I think all the orginal prospectors are still alive living there. Jerry

We took the pony express route about 10 years ago on our way to Snowmass for a conference in the summer. Sidetrips to Great Basin NP, Mesa Verde and Moab were nice. We were driving a Toyota MR2, no trailer. This route is shorter miles across country, but it wouldn't be high on my list to do again.
