US NPS "Senior Pass" - Still only $10 !

Woot! Just spent $10 for a lifetime pass to ALL the National Parks plus discounts at campgrounds. Such a deal. Surviving to 62 has its benefits.

You can get 'em here:

I got mine at Pea Ridge Battle Park in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

Have yet to use it, but hope to use it plenty this year.

Even the multi-agency pass for us youngsters is a great deal. $80 for the year gets you into all federal recreation facilities including national parks, national seashores, wildlife refuges, etc. We always more than amortize the cost before half the year is over.

$10 for lifetime freebie admission is way better though!

I'm looking forward to getting mine in April. I was worried last November that the possibility existed that I may no longer be qualified since I don't have an adjusted gross income exceeding $250 K a year.

The senior pass is wonderful, but there are others you may also be eligible for!

DH is a disabled vet so we ( he) has a Golden Eagle pass for National Parks. He also discovered similar passes are available for State Parks ! He has California and Oregon passes that even offer some free camping.

Something to look into, folks!

I long for the day when I can get out often enough to make annual passes worth considering...

Got mine this year also. It has already paid for itself. Going to Yellowstone in July with a group of Scampers from Las Vegas. Only $15/night in the Yellowstone park

BTW, if anyone is interested in travelling in a group to Yellowstone this summer check out GRAND TETONS AND YELLOWSTONE TRIP (July 14-18, 2013) on Facebook.

The $10 one was free originally. I paid my $10 about 15 years ago so I'm way ahead of the game. just found out the day before yesterday that Georgia state parks will waive the entrance fee if you have the "geezer pass" (correct name).
