Recent financial events have caused the US$ to rise considerably against the Cdn$. If you are in the US and have been considering the Escape, or other Cdn trailers, there is now at least a 20 - 25% discount in currency exchange. As the US$ rises, the discount will continue to improve.

It was bound to happen but still amazing how far and fast it's dropped. Ah well, good thing we ordered our USA trailer upgrades while the CDN was still strong =)

I KNEW I should have booked the hotels for my much anticipated winter vacation last month.

This will also make a substantial $$ difference on our Bandon trip next year.

Right now Lainey, fuel is cheaper than it was last year when you were here. So maybe that will help. 'Course who knows what may happen between now and July.

The Trailer Goddess an I very rarely let the $$ difference OR the co$t of ga$ bother our vacation plans. We don't 'do' alot of other stuff a lot of folks do, and we figure money saved there can easily be used to off-set cost of gas or dollar value fluctuations. For example we have just booked a suite for a get away (extended) weekend in B'ham next month, knowing that (for example today) the dollar is falling against the 'Murican Greenback!!
