Thank you Frederick for finding the right link. It was a lot of info to wade through, but it seems to confirm what I learned at the Alaska facilities. A veteran who serves a one-time enlistment, as millions of us did, are generally not eligible to participate in the military recreation programs. I understand and accept that. There are far too many of us and the resources of the military would soon be overwhelmed. I first researched this about ten years ago when I became interested in
fiberglass trailers. I discovered that the Air Force base outside Anchorage had Scamps and Casitas for rent. I was disappointed, but not surprised, that I could not participate in the military recreation services. But they had really nice people working there that let me inspect those trailers. I liked what I saw and soon found one to buy.
