Virtual Reality 2003
Update: look at Jana's map as of 7/31 (and her post about missing states/provinces). Come on folks!
Let's fill out the rest of this map!!!!
<img src=http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/uploads/3f29374df1d38where3.jpg/>
--------------------
Ok, you all have seen those colorful "fill in the map" maps of the US and Canada ... that folks put on their RV's ... I want to see how quickly we ... as a group ... can fill the map with our 2003 Campouts.
Ok, here's how it's going to work ... I'm going to list the states (or provinces) Pam and I have camped this year ... 2003 ... places we've actually camped (not states we've driven through, but not camped).
Only 2003 campouts are allowed. And we only need the "first" camping report ... so if some one else has already claimed "Utah" or "Prince Edward Island" there's no need to report it again.
I want to see how fast we can fill out our Virtual Reality "We've camped here" map (pretending that we're filling in our colorful camping map).
Ok, got it?
I'll start with where we've camped this year:
Colorado
Florida
Illinois
Kansas
Kentucky
Missouri
Ok, I need you all to quickly "fill in the blank spaces" on our camping map.
No cheating. Just list the missing states and provinces in which you've camped in 2003.
Ok, go!

Great Ches! We can now fill in three Canadian provinces:
Hmmm .... guess nobody else went camping this year.
At this rate, we'll never fill out our map!

Just returned to our home on Vancouver Island, BC, from a trip down the coast of Washington, Oregon and California. Boy, Oregon gets my vote for best and cleanest State Parks.

Clarification
Just want to make sure that I didn't mess up.
Passing through a state or province with trailers don't count. Okay, got that.
What if one actually stopped mid afternoon, parked, hooked up, camped, hiked, slept there, lit a fire, ate breakfast ,etc., before leaving the next day? Does that count?
It was, afterall, a single night campout. Right? I discovered on my long trip that if I considered each campground at the end of that day a destination, it was a series of wonderful adventures rather than a long and tedious trip. Hey, it really worked. So, I count them as campouts. :yep
Now if I had stayed in a Walmart parking lot, I wouldn't count that, cuz I was just restin' as I drove through. I didn't camp.

What next?
Now we oughta start counting up days (or nights) in these locations and see how much time we accumulate.

Hey, if you spent the night ... you camped there.
Driving through doesn't count!

And this is kinda like a family tree - just a bunch of names. We need pics from some of these campouts... or a pic of one of those maps.
Charles, can't you borrow Pam's marvey markers and color us in a map? Shoot a pic of it, and let us see our progress.
Of course I use ''our'' virtually, for I've been nowhere (yet!)
