Visited a nice campground up north

Last night my Pooch and I visited a very nice campground up North in Hoyt Lakes, MN. It's called Fisherman's Point. They have about 70 electric sites. Just about all the sites have the lake around them. I was able to fish right from my site, caught a few Sunnie's. I Will be going back as I enjoyed my time there. Also a good price for a night of camping!

The lake appears to be a nice size for my kayak. Was there much motorboat traffic, or was it pretty quiet on the lake? Was the campground very crowded?

I see they rent bikes. Did you take note whether there are some actual bike trails (paved or unpaved) around there?

I'll be headed toward MN this weekend if all goes well.

Mike... I think it would be a really nice lake for a kayak. I only seen 2 small boats just trolling, and one Pontoon boat. It was very nice and quiet there. Most of the sites were full on a Monday night. I thought that the sites were a really nice size. I didn't even have to use the level blocks, the site was nice and flat. I walked around the campground with the pooch, They have paved bike trails but I didn't go on them. Both the lake and the campground were very quiet. It's only 25 miles for me to go so I know that I will be going back there for sure.
