Just a bit of a correction: the Poo Powder HELPS to biodegrade the solid waste which cuts down odor if it sits around for awhile before disposal. It does NOT make it instantly free of biohazard, specifically, bacteria that can cause disease. It still needs to be sealed for handling and thrown sealed into the trash. The poo powder also helps solidify the urine so it won't leak. It does not make it any less hazardous (though urine is usually pretty sterile.)

Most municipalities allow dirty (poopy) diapers to go into the trash in plastic bags that are fastened shut.
