Roy,
Sorry,-- I'm slow. You literally meant it was--my question of long ago. Not that Raya had once answered this question! Got it.
Thanks for the link. I will read all this over again. And check on that specific unit, too.
Thanks again,
Betty L.

If I recall, there were a few not far from the major highways in South Western Ontario. My Friends brother most likely travels empty to Elkhart, IN. That is where most trailers seem to be made.

Almost anything near a border crossing would do. Any of these or somewhere between would help: Sarnia, Windsor, Fort Erie, Niagara Falls.

You are welcome Betty.
If and when you are ready and serious, I will contact them. Don't like asking favours prematurely on postulation.

Thanks Roy,
Quite understand. I once bought one in Utah, a 5th wheel Scamp in Utah over Ebay sight unseen, and that went OK. But one in Canada, sight unseen, from someone I do not know, with out even EBay, and then trying to rely on someone else to pick it up and get it stateside, does sound a bit scary.

But I have considered it. Even so. Thanks for the heads up as to what would be enroute for someone to pick up. That could prove helpful. We will see what happens.

Betty,
You find the one that interests you, get a member to check it out with the buyers checklist in hand, and go from there. Depe;nding on location, flights are not all that expensive. If it's the one you want, then you leave with the paperwork in hand. Then you find a way to get the trailer to you.

Hey Mike,
Thanks a bunch, I know about the one in College Station, but not the Lawton one! College Station may still be in the running, but Fridge is out, and graphics are shot, other, but fixable.
But I sent an email, as it is already 9:30 here, and too late for some, I fear. Will call in morn.
Thanks to all.

Well, I am very sad to say, I fear the hunt is still on. The one in OK was 400 miles, but that is ok. I would do it. But only electric fridge, and furniture was stripped out. That comfortable seating was one thing I was after. No ducted AC, another thing I was seeking, because it is just much more quiet and comfortable, and no keys, etc.

Sigh, somewhere its out there, and I will intersect with it.

Maybe that's why they had no photos in the ad. Oh well, keep your eyes open and you'll find one eventually.

Ducted heat and air. Remodeled to 'like new'. Only one problem: they used the dreaded silicone. Oh well, you can't have everything.

Award Trailer

Just saw your post about an Award trailer. My wife and I just discussed selling ours last night. It is in good shape, all amenities work - plumbing, Frig, heat and AC. Its been kept in our barn for the last 5 years. We are located in Connecticut. Is that too far for you? I have not discussed price yet with the wife. Let me know if you are interested.
