Well Herschel, you two managed to beat us. Ann retired 2 weeks ago and we planned a similar trip. Unfortunately home remodelling delays are slowing our get-away date.
Have a wonderful, trouble-free adventure. See lots of new places , & make many new friends . We hope you manage to find all inexpensive gas prices, also .

Hey Herschel and Darlene!

Hadn't heard from you since Perrin. Glad to know that not only is all well, but that you are just entering the most fun part of your life.

Have fun!

Alabama!

I'm not fond of the Gulf Coast in summertime, but I would dearly love to revisit De Soto Falls State Park and Monte Sano State Park and the parks in Alabama's mountain region.

Another state park that I never got to see and always wanted to visit was Cloudland Canyon State Park in northwest Georgia. Part of that same ridge and valley limestone region. I hear it's absolutely beautiful and has a great campground.

Bravo! Sounds like a great trip! Say "hello" to the crazy people of T-Town! We had the best time last year when we flew over for the Tennessee game! What a great tradition they have there. Have you been to the Bryant museum...great stop if you have the time.

Have lotsa, lotsa fun!!! Pictures welcome!
