Great news, Don!

In case you haven't already seen it, here are links to a couple of informative earlier topics about the Cadet:
'86 Cadet, Need info on this trailer
Predom N126D or Captain Trailer, Looking for information (interesting history from Brian Hatfield in this topic)

More information is always good, and I hope you will share with us when you learn more about this somewhat unusual trailer.

Thank you, Rob. I our trailer will be similar to the AGA-126D. We make a 900 mile journey on Saturday and Sunday to pick it up. This is very exciting for us.

Grazie, rob.

Dave and Sharon: Enjoy your trip and if you do come near Chattanooga let us know. We are 1.5 miles from I-75 and our driveway is pull-through!

At 4,990 euro (plus taxes), it seems that the price of this caravan in Italy is quite reasonable.

Hi Brian,
Taxes in Italy is many high.
4.990
+ IVA 20%
+ Immatricolazione 200 or 300 euro
= 6.000/6200 euro

and if you wont an optional you have pay many other euro
for example, if you wont the Boiler gas there are other 780 euro and for Stufa TRUMA other 840 euro...

if you wont a caravan ok, you will have pay 7.500 or 8.000 euro = 9.700 or 10.300 dollars!

I still think that the price of the Allcar is reasonable. Casita says their trailers start at "less than $10,000", and well all know that "start at" means "yours will cost much more", and that "less than $10,000" probably means $9,999.

I understand the tax issue. In some provinces of Canada, most purchases are subject to a combined provincial and federal sales tax of 15% (we only pay 6% here in Alberta), and in some states it is at least that high after local taxes are added.

Of course, Don probably didn't pay $10,000 for his Cadet... did you, Don?
