I live in the Pacific NorthWET and haven't even turned on the sticks 'n brick furnace. A bit chilly, but not too bad. The heat bills when I turn the furnace on make me GAG I'd rather save that money for fuel bills or site fees!

She says as she puts on warmer sweats...

Come on. Lay off Al. After all, if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have the Internet and consequently, this forum.

Snowed here all day today. heavy snowfall warning west of us, they are expecting 25 cm (12 inches) by tomorrow. Looking outside all I see is white, lawn, sidewalks, roofs, cars and road.

And we expect it tomorrow in Vermont. It is already snowing in the hills, I heard this evening.
Yeah, good old Hot Air Al - he will never have to worry about heating bills.

i live in columbia, sc and thankfully the white stuff didn't fall in my neighborhood. one of the reasons i endure the hellish summers here is the mild winters. i sure hope this isn't a portent of a bad time coming.
oh, and knowing the political climate here, i doubt that mr gore is even allowed to visit.

LOL Ian hasn't it been snowing there since September?
Please keep it on your side of the Rockies!

On the Saturday evening news (I forget if NBC or CBS), they went live to a weatherman outside in the snow in Carolina. Trouble was, his back was to the camera and he was looking down intently, doing... well... he finished and turned halfway and was putting on his gloves, and that's when they cut away. The broadcast never did return to that story. I wonder if that weatherman will ever report for the network again?
