Thanks everyone. I know I will feel a lot of embarrassment going to weigh for the 1st time. You know how it is, I will feel like a dumb broad that has no idea what she is doing. (sad truth is, that is the truth)

It's not just a "broad" thing. I feel the same thing the first time I do anything (but my last name is "LaBroad" so who knows!

I think it's sometimes all to do with the attitude. I imagine a conversation, even with myself, something along the lines of, "I know it's a tiny rig compared to some but I'm new and I want to know what it weighs for two reasons. One, everyone knows they exaggerate on the low side the weights of trailers and secondly, I want to be able to brag about how little it weighs. I may never weigh it again but I'd like to do 'due diligence' at least one time and know what's up."

I noticed there was an unmanned truck scale on the side of the road just outside Bandon last summer. I didn't have the trailer hooked up, but I got a good weight on the TV.

I'm glad to hear that you took advantage of Oregon's scales. It's pretty common here to find scales that aren't manned. There's two about 5 miles from my house. I've used them a couple of times.
