weird FG motorhome

Coming into Edmonton Alberta on Hwy 16 today saw a small molded motor home. Only about 6' high and about 20' long. I think it was a diesel pusher. No name on it but I think it was a Vixen 21' and had Saskatewan plates. Looked like a nice little rig.

David, We have been in a Vixen. Pretty nice but no longer manufactured. We went to look at them somewhere during our travels. After seeing what was involved, we leaned towards one of the GMC motorhomes.

I was driving 10 over on the open expressway a few years ago when one of those things passed us like we were sitting on jacks!

A couple of years ago there were a few of them traveling together and staying at Highlands Hammock at the same time as the annual Scamp Camp.

Also...for another cool oddball... anybody ever seen one of these....Its a Corvair pusher motor home.
We have one at our cruise night once in a while!

That's an UltraVan. Very cool lightweight MH with the Corvair powertrain under the rear floor.

Another rare Fiberglass Motorhome

Here is a very rare 1978 Datsun 620 SunRader molded fiberglass motorhome it has 73,000 miles on it. It was stored for 14 years in a shed. No leaks. Like driving a time machine. Only a hand full made in 78.
