Well, that was easy....

Just arrived in Palm Springs after a 2,100 km (about 1,300 miles) trip. I'm glad to report that our little rig towed like a trouper--we pretty much stuck to 60 mph all the way down. Even on the bumpy-bumpy freeways we had no problems at all and the Hyundai Santa Fe is a great tow vehicle, with power to spare. We are now living like potentates in an expensive RV resort, surrounded by monster RV's. So much for boondocking!
Phil

Enjoy Palm Springs and the weather. AND all the amenities of the RV resort.

So glad you had an uneventful trip south, Phil. I imagine Palm Springs & the resort where you are parked is much like this area in Florida where I am parked.

Came down the end of January and am in an RV resort on Hutchinson Is....the Treasure coast of Florida. This is the forth year I have been here. Three years with the 13' 1978 Trillium and now with my 15' 1980 Trillium. Here's a pic of my rig with a neighbour.

Doesn't that picture make you feel sorry for the owner of that motorhome? Darn big things.
