Went to the Portland RV show

I needed to get out of the house and walk somewhere dry, so I ended up at the Portland RV show. It didn't have any fiberglass units, just stick builts and a couple of all alumimum ones. Airstream had 7 to 8 units there and I liked the bambi, but for $32,000 "special price" and a 48" bed, it wasn't that great. I had a great time looking around, but in the end I like my 13' with the 58" wide bed. It's paid for and even way over buget to restore, it still is $5000 less than the cheapest sale price I found. I also went into the R-pod, which had some nice layouts, but even at 18 foot had less storage than mine. In the end I didn't have any urge to get something new. Good thing there wasn't any fiberglass ones there.

We go to the Tampa RV Supershow in January each year to see what's new and what's up. We enjoy dry-camping and making it a two-day event with friends, as the show is big.
We haven't found anything we like better either... but often get some good ideas.
Wouldn't trade our egg for a stickie, either.
