This time yesterday the ground was bare.

A number of years ago we took a direct hit. Lost a lot of electronics. I'll take the snow any day. Hunker down, stay safe. Raz

Our weather out here at 5300' in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona is downright boring...
We had a pretty wet winter, so this is a welcome respite.

Yup, looks boring. Two weeks ago we had about a week of 40-50 degrees. We tapped the maples and made some syrup. Now we are back in the deep freeze. As Maggie says "March is a cruel month". But the tomatoe seeds are planted . In 7 weeks they will be ready for planting. Then we go camping.

YUP was about ready to get the Boler out from down back as it only had about 12 more inches to melt but with the 24 inches we got Tuesday....wondering if I can.
Got to get it and ready for the Spring Fling In New England Rally on May 11,
Hard to believe but in just about 8 weeks and we'll be having the 1st Spring Fling

We got home from two months in Florida, 10 days before this storm that gave us two feet of snow. The ground was bare when we got home. Now I'm hearing more coming this weekend, up to 6".

We started our two weeks ago Sunday, keeping them inside until the temps get back to the upper 60's and we bring them in at night in case of a frost...

Dang, I sure wish I could send all of you a bit of my temps.....it's been 95-106 this week. I really dislike it when Spring only lasts a week . But on the plus side, I haven't shoveled snow in almost 50 years.

Me neither, I have a tractor with a loader. You'd be amazed at the damage I can do with that.

You don't know all the fun your missing.
We're heading home today from a week on the coast of Maine back to the mountains of Maine, to I'm sure, 24 inches of icy snow and a huge snow bank that will need to cleared out before we can get the car in the driveway.
Say-la-vi...Say-la-ger, say what you want, I'm sick of it.
excuse my poor attempt at the French

Gerry, I do know what I'm missing . I shoveled all my relatives driveways/walkways back in S/W Michigan and then had to clear the dang berms the snowplows left. Funny thing is, thinking back on it, none of them drove anymore because of their age.
Raz, I wish I would have had a tractor but I don't think snowblowers were even around back then.
On a side note, a couple years ago someone coming back to our desert town filled his pickup with snow from the mountain and made a snowman about 4' tall in front of the local grocery store. I had to do a double take when I saw it as it was about 75* in the valley. I touched the head, yup, that's snow. Sure got a lot of attention from the local children.

ave is now living the good life a long ways away from snow country and loving it from the sounds of it. I Bet if we all moved to CA it would sink for lack of water.
