Trailmite, no question. The "eyebrow" and the belly band that forms into the tail-light mounts are unique to this brand.They were built in Costa Mesa, CA. 1971-72.
We've had ours since 2006.
Keep an eye on the tongue, they were way underbuilt. Our about go torn off by a Kansas backroad dip. We've since replaced it with much stouter stock. The suspension is odd too -- a swingarm axle
with a pair of what are best described as half leaf-springs. I replaced the whole shebang with a new axle
(with brakes) and full size leaf-springs and raised the travel by a few inches to handle the dirt roads we tend to frequent.
