FiberStream

We have a 1982 FiberStream. I call it "Tiny Trailer." Most folks around here have HUGE rigs; we just see the occasional Casita and maybe a Scamp or two, but no other FiberStreams. Does anyone know anything about them? I know they quit making them in 1992. Is there a market for them?

By the way, I'm brand new to this forum. :wub

No, our scanner's broken, and I don't think Tommy has a picture on his digital camera. I'll ask him to take one, and then we'll post it, but it may be a few days.

Do you know anything about FiberStreams? :r

Only 54 posted

Okay, I'm bringing this back up for some air. We have more than 400 registered members, and only 54 votes.

Anybody else care to help us with this tally? Seems like several more Trilliums, Bolers, and Scamps have signed on recently.

Sorry, Lex! Your BIOD will have to count as an Other. The poll software is limited.

Other - Fiberglass Chinook Camper Body and FG Fiber Stream Travel Trailer

Here are mine.

This used to be Tom and Nancy Morse's. Think Deluxe Scamp. They measured a 13 foot box. The total dry weight is 2,120 lb. The trailer axle weight is is 2,000 lb. The tongue weight is 220 lb. I'm guessing that most of the weight is in the wood cabinetry and full bathroom plus holding tanks.

Way to go, Benita!

You got the Fiber Stream! Congrats on finding the fiberglass travel trailer you've been lookin' for!

Are you going to pull it with the Chinook? :wink

Over Rv'd

The trailer hasn't been delivered yet. I have no tow vehicle.

The camper shell overpowers the Toyota 1/2 ton. There is no tow capacity left. The GCVR is already at the max.

I am contemplating my foolishness as I type. I MIGHT be able to get this thing in my garage if I convert it back to the side air TT it was originally. With the roof air, there is just no way.

:wave Benita,

I happy for you.
I’ve added “Fiber Stream” to the list of RVs on the website.

Thank you all for your congratulations

I still have the feeling that I've jumped in waaaay over my head. I'm sure the feeling won't go away until I'm able to actually take a trip in the camper.

LoveBug

Jamie, do you have a picture of the TT when your camping? You know the kind, with a pretty view or something around it. If you could post it here, it would be easier for most of us to see. thanks.

Don't blame me!

I'd be haapy to respond, as soon as someone will sell me their 13'er... Hey, Jamie Auch -- we toured the LoveBug factory once, way back in the '70s. It was a dinky little operation in an old barn, but they were making a nice little camper. Fun!

Keeping Score?

I'm guessing most folks don't feel the need to add to the thread saying what type of RV they have. Scamps and Casita predominate. However , they could click on the poll without adding a message just so there is a tally.
