It is a tear drop! sorry, I don't remember the brand name. I have seen info on them here before, if it's the one I remember seeing here before it's composite/plastic rather than a fiberglass. And like anything else, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it!

Here's a link to one that sold back in 2012 1989 Teardrop American | Spokane, WA | Fiberglass RV's For Sale

the link will at least give you an idea of pricing. I think a lil pricey, but again, it's worth what someone is willing to pay.

Jake, we have a member that's looking to buy one of these trailers. If you're not interested in making the purchase, perhaps you'll be kind enought to send the information to Bret: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...rop-61882.html

Looking at the pics of both of those Outbackers gives you a hint as to why they didn't work out. Water leakage was endemic at the doors and, because it was ABS, dimensional shifting was also an issue.

That said, there is still a pile of NOS parts for them in a junque yard in Chelan, WA. Bret (above) has most recently made contact with them. They wanted $500 for a set of body parts when I first saw them about 3 years ago, but no chassis parts are available.

I am also quite interested in this trailer. Is it for sale? How much is the asking price? Where is it?

I am about to start a project of building one with the parts and pieces from a fellow in Chelan. But, if I can buy a "whole" trailer for a reasonable price I would save myself a heck of a project.

My email is rwilhelm@volcano.net

Thanks
Roger
