I am going to put this up for sale at $1200 on craigslist. If it doesn't sell by my first day off in a couple weeks when I can go to Motor Vehicle, then I will get going on repairs. I know it is pricey for its condition, but I really won't feel bad if it doesn't sell.

I understand having buyers remorse. If it doesn't sell, it's meant to be yours. I think it's cool. I'd always rather be one-of-one, rather than one of many and I've never seen this particular shape (rear) before on an egg-shaped trailer.
You only need to have the trailer so the inside stays dry, it's clean on the inside (your dirt is cleaner than their dirt) and safe to go down the road to enjoy it a bit. Consider it a hardsided tent. Air mattresses, coolers, camp stove, etc. Most of us have certainly come from that background. At least a trailer will allow you to sleep safe and dry until you can finish it to your liking.
Best of luck!

Hahaha. I already deleted the ad. I think it is adorable myself. I get discouraged by that water that refills my personal reservoirs. I guess I need to get a cover for my egg or seal the windows. At least the water does not damage anything. It goes straight to the compartments and not to the floor. I will bail it out again after the rain stops.

Where are you getting all that water in Az?
Seriously, there is nothing wrong with working your way up towards what you really want. Fix it up a little, tack on a little finders/fix up fee, then sell it to someone who wants one like that and go on to your next one. That one needs quite a bit and that Trillium over in LA looks pretty good for $3000.
PS a 3/8 drill in the bottom of those wells works wonders, drain!

But use a cordless drill if there is still water in it.

I was thinking the same thing concerning drilling a hole in the bottom of the wells so it would just drain out.
As for, "Where are you getting all that water in Az?" Tucson has been getting some pretty good rains for last week or so. Off & on. Wednesday, it snowed off & on most of the day. Our "Little Man", was able to go out & play (mainly walk) in the snow 3 times. He had a blast, 3 1/2 yrs. old. Has spend all his life in Tucson, except on a few vacations.
His mom & dad took him up to Mount Lemon to see the snow & to do a little sliding. But it wasn't snowing. He'd been talking about snow all winter.
KristiS, Buyer's Remorse can be a Hard Thing. I've been having it a lot with a VW Baja Bug I purchased a few months ago. Hoping it will work out in the end as well.
To be able to have it as your Hard-sided Tent, you'll need to get those leaky windows fixed & the holes patched. Not sure how you are at doing these jobs, might see if you can find a handyman who could do them if your not.
My daughter uses a retired neighbor who does handyman jobs, I could find his name & number for you if you'd like. They live East of D-M AFB near Golf Links & Camino Seco area.
It it keeps raining, might want to get a cheap tarp to cover the egg. Keep the wet out. Until it is repaired.

Kristi, Sounds like you want to get a tarp over this baby, and when it dries out, caulk the windows to stop the leaks. But remember don't use anything with silicone (it's the devil's brew! truly!!). I think your camper is adorable too With it stripped out, you can set it up however you want. My personal preference would be NO bathroom (too much work and $$ to build one for me. I don't want to try and fingure out how/where to install water supply, black water tanks, etc.) That looks like a very nice front bar/kitchen area, and a BIG back bed. You will have a pretty spiffy rig with a little elbow grease and imagination.

Thanks Adrian, I do know a handyman. What a great idea! He is very reasonable too. I may send it to his house and let him work on it in his spare time.

The raised part in the rear does not look modified to me. I may be wrong, but it looks like that was the way it was designed.

It looks like wood to me. If so I doubt it is original.

Still for sale.
Remember, there is not a title. You will need to apply for a bonded title. I was told you must take it for an inspection, fill out paperwork and it takes approx 30 days to get a title in your name.
