"Ape" (ahh-pay) in Italian means "wasp".
With their small 2 cycle engine ... it almost sounds like the buzz of a wasp.

Wouldn't that be neat if someone bought it and restored it in the style of the Galileo?

About the same as a Bee. Google Translate also thinks it is Bee

I would love to have a good look at the trailer, but its a long way to Edmonton. Looks like the roof is blown open in the back end and not sure what that red stuff on the roof is, hope its not spray foam or something. I would love a trailer with a built in hanger for my RC gear.

I bet it originally had some side panels or fairings that covered the wheel area. Would love to see pics of a good one.

There are several pics in Google Images. Search for "APECO Trailer images"

Hubby says that there was a tarp on the roof. We did not stay around too long in long.

Here's a pic showing the back door open and the built in tent add-a-room in place.
