I know this isn't a fibreglass trailer. It's aluminum shell with Molded plywood in the inside. We are guessing it's from the 1950's but not to sure what the make and model is. Any help is appreciated
There are plans out there for some home built units that look similar to that, they are made from 1/4" plywood, and glued together. My son was doing a canoe from the same kind of design. They were meant to be fiberglassed after the fame was built. From the wood inside, it seems like that might be the case here.
Home built is a good guess. Others have more expertise, but if there is any paperwork, title, registration, bill of sale, license plates or labels, they might tell you. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome thanks! I've sent a message out to Tin Can to see if anyone has any info!
There's no paper connected to this trailer it was left on farm that was then bought by someone else.
I hope you rescue it regardless of what it is! Looks like a design ahead of it's time. I see there is a licence plate on the back. Any way you could search for it at a registries with that?
