Can anyone give me a name of this plant/flower, found in Tucson, AZ.

Thanks Mary....I passed your input on to my daughter, she said yes, the are the same. Pride of Barbados, Red Bird of Paradise. Thanks, we have the yellow Mexican Bird of Paradise in our yard, but did not recognize it as a simular plant (so much different).

When these start blooming, they are beautiflul and all around town.
