My Scamp doesn't HAVE a back door!
However, about 3AM two nites ago my reading was disturbed by a lound clattering of sticks -- Sounded like on of those Far Eastern schools of martial arts on long-pole training day -- Went outside with flashlite because this didn't sound like the usual bunch of little 'coons fighting over the apples -- Went back inside for camera and got this, if you can make it out:

The bay is on Lopez Island, Washington. The picture's from my step, The Trimaran belongs to a neighbor who's taking the neighber kids for a small adventure.
I left the date on the picture to demonstrate that we actually had a little sun today.

And this is out the side window when the sun was coming up over the trees and shining on our wood/storage shed and my potting (clay wheel-type potting) shed.

Gina... and do I recall that you live in Bat Cave, NC? Was that right? And that you have a black cat in there too? Was this taken in your coal bin? Sorry Gina... I just couldn't help myself... If I turn my monitor ALL the way up, I can JUST make out a form in the photo, but I can't really tell what it is

WOW. Robert is a potter, too. The lithium battery in my digital camera just died, or I'd post a picture of his studio in our back yard.
