We visited a friend in N.C last May and I took this picture from his porch.

I just came in from clearing the drive. The stuff is thick, wet and white. The snow blower just blurp blurped. I don't think I could have used a shovel. Suposed to turn colder so will probably end up as ice.

I thought the groundhogs said an early spring. I didn't even go outside to take this just opened the door and shot.

Still waiting for snow...
It's been the mildest winter I can remember out here.

Here's the view from outside the back door, looking at the barn-turned-pottery-studio, the chicken coop and the back pasture behind it.

Looking forward to the RC3 rally in Florida just a few weeks away....

I don't know if this counts, but it will be my view out the back door after I retire and build a place in Tennessee.

For those of you still fighting with the white stuff, have faith, spring has come to Vancouver Island. The daffs and even a few tulips are in bloom in Victoria right now. Our weather moves from west to east so keep the baby Faith - it is on it's way.

And there is a light snow up the hill on Geysers Peak (only happens a couple of days a year)

I tried to take a picture out the back window of the house but all of the sunlight has frozen and fallen onto the ground. We got 12" of snow yesterday and the current temp is -28 degrees F. Wind chill at 3:50am this morning when I got up was -45 F. Four days ago it was 50 F and I had the motorcycle out for a short ride.

Who says that Wisconsin weather is boring? We have had a 78 degree temp veriance in 4 day and added 12" of snow. Not bad.

Now if I can only find my Love Bug that left in the back yard. Maybe I shouldn't have painted it white.

SUPRISE!!!!! (well, not really, we knew this was coming) This is out my FRONT door this morning. I am 75 miles east of LA, Ca. and if you look real close, you will see my sissy city dog is not quite sure what to make of it, but he knows how to make it to the door real fast.

Either that, or he is hot on the trail of some Polar Bear Eggs!

It is a beautiful day here today. Bright sunshine and a balmy -13 C. Still too early to pull the Trillium out of back yard though.

Wow!! Wow!! ...and WOW!!! What a photo, I spent the first 40 years of my life in Southern Cal and can't recall ever seeing that much snow on those hills before. What a magnificent photo, thanks for sharing.

Sharon - The snow was as low as the 1500 foot level. Mountains are beautiful right now.

Sunrise over the pool. Not my back door, but I manage the 300 acre ranch.
I live on the hill just under the morning sun. One mile away.
