I found a Compact II in somebodys yard that they were using for a storage container. The owner said I could have it if I would move it. Does it have any value? Are they hard to find? It would need a lot of work, it is basically a shell without any paperwork. Doug

What is it worth? It depends on what you want it to be. If you hope to take this and re-sell it for a price, probably not much. But if you are a person who wants a trailer, a unique trailer, lightweight , you enjoy a project and have the patience and the time to invest, and are keen about a shell that you can create something from nothing. Then it is priceless. Plan on an evening, equipe your self with your favorite beverage and do a search on "Compact" on this forum and settle in for lots of reading. There are those who have re-created Compact II's and Compact juniors. It looks like you will need a new chassis as it looks very rusty from the one picture, new wheels, likely a new interior, the way you want it, new appliances, the ones you want and I suspect new canvas for the pop top. Do you have a place to work on something like this? Have some fun or let others know about your find and I am sure there will be some one keen to start from this to create a masterpiece.
