Burgers are my favourite, though must be home made. Love using different toppings like; various cheeses, different pickles, mushrooms, veggies and the like.

Pizza would be my second choice, again prefer home made, but there are some good thin crust ones that can be bought.

Hot dogs, I really don't like them in any way, shape or form. (Ever seen what goes in them?) Though, if that is all there is, I will eat them.

oooooh ALL of them. BUT, it depends on circumstances... like an open wood campfire (hotdogs), Beef & Brew (deck party... hamburger), or if there's a NFL football game on TV (pizza)!

I voted Pizza.... with sundried tomatoes, sunflower seeds, artichoke hearts, Feta, etc., etc.

Burgers and Pizza are a 2 way tie for me, the mood ya know, I've never been able to eat 2 hotdogs in a month let alone one sitting until one day momma brought home some Hebrew Nationals and now I can go 2 a week.

When I was a in my late teens one of my friends worked for a hotdog company in Bohstun and would tell me about how they would try to catch the resident rats and throw them in the vat, after that my appertite fell for hotdogs. He later admitted while drunk that it wasn't true but, he was drunk when he told me about throwing them in too.

I agree with Jim. We like playing with burger toppings too.

Pizza is fun too for the same reason, different topping options.

Hot dogs...well they are not my favorite but I will eat them if there is no other choice.

Now what could be better in the summer than having some friends over and knocking back with some cool ones and having a bunch of burgers cookin' on the grill. Add some homemade BBQ sauce, cheese, sweet onion, and add the fixin's. Now you have a real party.

Save the pizza for the hockey game on Sat night; with extra sauce, and double cheese. The hot dogs are for a quicky lunch when you don't have time or the energy to cook better.

Pizza of course.

If you order the right one you will get the very best balanced meal with all food groups.

Now this would be for breakfast, lunch or dinner and even a midnight snack

Of course I need to wash it down with either a Becks or Coke.

I voted "Hamburger" but we like to make it with either ground Chicken or Turkey.

While I am partial to all three of these food items, a good pizza is HEAVEN in my book! hehe
For those of you that are very local to my area, the best pizza around is Antonio's in the tiny town of Buellton, just FYI...

I have yet to try making pizza while camping though. I wonder, if there a way to make it in the campfire dutch ovens or something?? Any input there?

We use an OUTBACK OVEN. It does a fantastic job of baking on a portable stove. We use a yeast risen dough. These photos were taken on a canoeing trip, but we have used it trailer camping too. There is a flame diffuser that goes on the stove, the pizza (or cake, bread, etc) goes in a round pan, a lid (with a thermometer as the handle) goes on top, then the whole thing covered with a shroud that keeps the heat in. We used a tube of pesto for the sauce, rehydrated sundried tomatoes and mushrooms, used a great farmer sausage and topped with mozzarella cheese.

Here is my wife prepping the pizza. CLICK

And a shot of the oven in use. CLICK

You can see the thermometer in the vent hole. CLICK

The finished pizza. CLICK

Mmmm...Mmmm...good. CLICK

Thanks Donna and Linda, I saved the Booklet, am going to print it out and bring it along to the Lake Casitas rally. MIGHT try to practice using my dutch oven with the booklet before the rally, we'll see what happens...
