Seen a couple of these redone on HGTV specials and they came out pretty cool.
Talk about a money pit, though....

Not used recently? Think of the referbish $$$$. All specialty equipment not readily available on open market. Would make a great commune though. Talk about a gated housing unit

If you want to see what this looks like up close. This museum is south of Tucson, AZ about 30 mi. I've been here myself and it is quite a interesting piece of history.
