Us too even though we live in an area that isn't as progressive as the PNW. We visited Seattle once and fell in love. It was for work so we didn't really get to do much but the people are just so open and wonderful. When we launch we're going to try not to beeline straight there but if the time of year is right we'll find some kind of excuse.

Here is a followup photo from today April 12th. It would cost tens of thousands of dollars to purchase enough commercial fertilizer to get the entire field looking like this spot.

Or you could put up a sign "FREE DUMP STATION". I'm sure you'd be popular with your neighbors. Raz

You could be taken to court for this suggestion, these folks could use lawnmowers in lieu of haircut saloons.

Years ago, I was visiting my folks who live in the dry part of the state and a very sparsely populated area. My Golden Retriever rolled in stuff, I rinsed it off.

The next day she was sick. Her ears were messed up. I took her to the vet and we figured she had rolled where somebody had emptied their holding tanks and the chemicals were making her break out around and in her ears. She was shaved around the ears, given shots and antibiotics and I got a nice bill.

But, this is the same dog that rolled on a dead porcupine. I pulled all the quills out except for one, and that was another trip to the vet.
