My family was in the oil industry for years, going back to about 1914. Our tank farms, which we sold to Ashland/Marathon, were in the pipelines. MOst of the differences in light
oil products like gasoline are hyperbole.
In 2003, I opened a music store and folk music school. Many of the instruments and accessories are not made in North America anymore. For guitars, you have Godin and Larivee in Canada. Martin, Taylor, and Gibson are in the USA. But, these companies only cover about 1% of the guitar market; the rest are built in Asia (mostly). The same statistics are there for straps, strings, cases, stands, mics, Amp systems, etc.
