Which roadside service????

I've been a member of Good Sam roadside service and Good Sam auto insurance for years.

I don't have any problem with the roadside service.
The only time I needed a tow they sent a tow truck 65 miles as they didn't have anyone contracted in the area.

I haven't had a ticket or insurance claim in years.
I received a speeding ticket and the Good Sam sponsored raised my insurance rate 70%.

I've found insurance elsewhere and now want to change my roadside service.

Any suggestions?

John

70%!! Holy smokes! We have been very happy with AAA RV roadside assistance. Our RV however is insured through our house/auto insurance.

Good luck!

If you were happy with the roadside in the past why change? I don't have roadside but I'm considering it.

To me it's all Good Sam.

I want nothing to do with them.

You could always buy directly from Allstate. Good Sam is just the middleman and contracts with Allstate to provide the service.

We were really happy with Good Sam.....Actually change from AAA. Whatever you do make sure you read the fine print re: RV. TT. My AAA wouldn't change the tire on a dually.

I think both are really expensive. We have small trailers, not huge motor homes.
I do have Good Sam now but thinking of going back to AAA after Sam expires. The costs just don't seem to fit the service you get.

Anyone considering AAA should be aware that they have very strict limitations, even at the Plus level.

Also AAA is regional, not national, some regions will not tow a trailer no matter what coverage you have purchased. Something to consider for a traveler.
