The article is two years old now, but the author had it right even for today - we may think viruses are bad now, but we ain't seen nothin' yet. :weep
I don't know why more ISPs don't do what one of mine does-- they filter everything, and any attachments with a pif, exe, scr, extension gets quarrentined, and I get an email asking if I really REALLY want it sent through. I received nearly 30 such emails for that account in the last three days, telling me that their were SoBigs addressed to me.

I hate using Outlook Express, too, but I haven't been able to configure Eudora to handle my multiple personalities properly. :sad

Outlook

So if you dont use Outlook, (or do) what are your other options? I am not very computer savy, and just do what I am told by my DH. I do use Outlook, but would always look for a better option if it helped. Of course they are all hooked up through the U of M, and things spread fast when one has it.

Deb,

I much prefer the style of Eudora-- http://www.eudora.com/-- which has a free sponsored mode (small ad in lower left corner). You can kill the "Preview Email" mode, which makes it ever more impervious to viri. Nicer quoting/reply options than OE, too.

The key word may be properly. But I use Eudora to check 3 different accounts. e-mail me if you want to talk about it.
