It used to be called the "Being Green"
But since we've started sanding it down, getting ready for new paint in the spring, it's been called all maner of horrible things. [He was a bad ol' man]
Now it's looking for a new coat and a new alias.

We named ours...
<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%"><span style="font-family:Comic Sans Ms">“DATE WEEKEND”</span></span>
The goal is to go once a month. We also get 4 weeks vacation that we spread out to two long trips and several long weekends.
Guess what this weekend is?

I called the "little Bigfoot" "the Beast". I'm having some difficulty naming the 25'. I'm thinking about "She Who Must Be Obeyed" in honor of... well... uh... ummm... "She Who Must Not Be Named."

Prior owners called our MKP "Betsy" too.
When I picked it up, the name just didn't suit it, so as I towed it back from NY, I ran the gammut of names for it.
Someone on this site suggested it was more of a a bread box than an egg, so I pondered some more, did some word searches, and voila: ROLY-POLY - our portable vacation cottage!
I even use a dictionary definition as my signature (with my own addition of course!!! )

Just struck me as appropriate.

Hi - these are some GREAT stories, as were the ones in the older thread Mary mentioned. Ours was a logical extension, since our tug is the "GeezerMobile", it had to be "GeezerEgg"! Happy travels, L 'n D

Mine is all deck out in strawberries on the inside and red on the outside, I thought of the strawberry express, but I am kinda leaning toward another love of mine and calling it "Dragon egg" or even "Dragging egg".

Some one made mention of calling there trailer by a name, we (the wife) calls ours the "Good egg", I how ever call it the "Cracked egg", not that its cracked .
Being a ex-custom painter i had visions of painting it like an egg with cracks in it like a hard boiled egg.
Let's hear your trailer names???????

Not true Doug! The "tree" in the middle of the Oregon Plate is an example. When these plates first came out, lots of people got tickets for painting it dark green instead of the lime green of original. I got to write a bunch of tickets on that one
It's even illegal to cover the plate with anything other than a clear covering. Those smoked plexiglass covers you see for sale at parts stores are illegal. About the best we can do is get a gaddy license plate frame.
Now back to your regularly scheduled topic

Kermit is Kermit because his previous owner painted him green to match the interior (without consulting his wife or anyone else apparently) and from the comments received on his homecoming, it's not easy being green. Hence, Kermit.

Our Trailorboat is nicknamed "Boat Ugly" and the LiteHouse has been dubbed "Egg Squared" --- both names for obvious reasons!
In reality, both are really "Too Much Fun" and we can't wait for our first weekend away in the LiteHouse --- next week.

We named our first compact II Montana, When we totaled her 2 miles from were we picked her up, we were so sad. We could not beleive we were going home without her. It was such a long trip. When we got home we found another compact II. This one was in Arizona We had it shipped to us instead of going to Arizona. Guessed what we named her? Yep ARIZONA. We love her and have had so much fun in our little Arizona.

Right now it's called Oscar because my youngest daughter said the picture in the brochure reminded her of the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile - sans weiner. I'm thinking of renaming it the Caddyshack as I plan on using it for weekend getaways to go golfing this year.
