Apparently it's the 1913 Earl travel trailer at the RV Museum in Elkart, IN.

Here what i could find
"UK -- Here's what's been unflatteringly described as a "garden shed on wheels," a British motor vehicle museum says this 1908 caravan (travel trailer to us folks in the US) is the oldest existing recreational vehicle designed to be pulled with a car.

Visit the Motor Museum in Llangollen, Denbighshirem to check it out for yourself.

1909 Picknic Tender from' Old Woodies' site.
This is one-step from becoming a travel trailer.
The first one was probably built by some guy that said, " I think that I can pull my old farm wagon behind my old Lizzie and not have to go home after the pub closes".

Alf S. North shore of Lake Erie
Earliest known unit of length, which originated between 2800 and 2300 BC. A cubit is approximately 43 to 56 cm (17 to 22 in) long, which is about the length of the human forearm measured from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow.
