Wow. Very cool. Two fiberglass trailers!
How many members here own two (or more) fiberglass trailers?

Is this about current ownership? Another knot in this thread could be the serial collector. I used to belong to this group, but sold my "extra" trailer...

Trailer: 1978 Trillium 15 ft

We have owned 3 different fg trailers in the last 5 years. We began with a 13' Boler, moved up to a 15' Trillium, then the two-footitis struck again - now we own a 17' Bigfoot. Does that count for this thread?
I have been afflicted with this two-footitis dating back to my boating days - it's incurable!
Our experience has revealed that it takes approximately 18 months, from the time of buying the new trailer, to fill up the additional space with useless junk. Then it's time to move up again.

Last summer was the first time we used the 17' and have owned it almost 3 years.....if we go on a longer trip, i.e. East or West coast I prefer to use the 13' because we move every day pretty well and stay in campgrounds so use their washrooms....I get about 21 mpg Imp towing at hwy speeds+, and can tow in OD almost every where......we used the 17' only in Manitoba and stay in it for a few days or longer....A lot of times my truck won`t go into OD if there is any headwind at all....I haven`t gone far enough to check mileage but notice that there is a difference in fuel consumption...possibly my truck could use a larger engine...only is a 4.8L vortec with 280 ponies at 5000 rpm...so it has to scream to develop any power......having a choice of trailers for different purposes is kinda neat but think that I would like to try a Scamp gooseneck..oops!..5er....Then maybe I would get by with one unit......Benny

I found a Scamp 13 that is a wreck, But worth restoring. Does this mean I am not crasy to want another Egg. I used to collect Fiberglass surfboards as a kid maybe the fumes of the resin got me

I have two Trillium' here.
One is a 73 1300 this was my first.
The other is a 77 4500.
I was planning to get rid of the 1300 when I got the 4500 but it has not happened yet.
By the way when I do sell the 1300,Pete has 1st shot at it if he wants it.

Trailer: Burro 13 ft 1982

My dad has owned 9 in the past 3 1/2 years. 2 Trilliums, 1 Scamp, 1 Burro, 1 Bigfoot, 1 LoveBug, 2 Compact Jrs. and 1 Amerigo. He sold the Trilliums, Scamp and LoveBug. Gave us the Burro as a wedding gift and currently has the 13ft Bigfoot for weekend trips, 16ft Amerigo for longer trips and 2 Compact Jr that are waiting for his attention. A couple of weeks ago he looked at a Perris Pacer I think or was it a Boler (I am not for sure) but he passed on it as he has no where to park another one except in the middle of the front yard and my step mother was not crazy about that idea. I think he should become a member of the Serial Collector club. Where do I sign him up?

The graphic is attached to Donna's note, but is captioned as "Roger's Law"... who is the original artist? It's fantastic - I'm now on my way to the printer to pick up my copy and put it on the wall!

Brian, I don't know who the original artist might be. It's something I've had archived on my computer for several years. I THINK it may have been originally posted here on FiberglassRV several years back.
